:: Food Demo!

Just a quick little post to show you some pics from the food demonstration I did to camera on Monday.  I will be using some of the footage as promotion for the book and we managed to cook 9 dishes in the one day, which I was pretty impressed with!  Recipes from the book were on the menu including mixed berry smoothies, herby roast chicken, spicy sweet potato chips, mushy roast garlic cherry tomato pasta, hasselback potatoes and a few more!  Here’s the pics:

    I bet you had a lot of fun doing that. Cooking and talking your way through 9 recipes, that's quite a talent. I'd definitely end up with some carbon in my food and a red flush to my cheeks!

    So, Donal…

    TV programme next then? Give Jamie a run for his money?

    I can tell you that Aussie TV would LOVE you – Cooking shows are the new black again, or something (thanks to Masterchef Australia), and now Maggie Beer's show has finished (one of the absolute matriarchs of Aussie food), I think there's a bit of a gap! 🙂

    Oh and you're Irish. Would go down a storm!

    How EXCITING! Is that really your kitchen or is it one of those fake TV kitchens??
