Donal,I’m originally from Varberg, approx 80k south of Gothenburg and I’ve been to Marstrand quite a few times. What did you think of it? Marstrand is better in nice weather that’s for sure.// Mike

I was in Goteborg earlier this year, a flying visit though as we were on our way to Skovde. That Ryanair airport is unusual to say the least… more reminiscent of a barn than a transport hub! 🙂 Hope you had a great time anyway. Thanks to all these food blogs I'm feeling culinarily inspired this week and made up a big pot of my mum's lentil & veggie dhalcha last night. Ate it on its own with a dollop of natural yoghurt. Yum yum yum. 🙂

Mike- Cool! The West coast is so nice! Especially Mastrand. I visited Smogen in the rain and your right these places definitely have to be seen in the sunshine!Siobhan- Hahaha I know what you mean though- it’s vastly improved since my first visit where we had to pick our bags straight off the truck!Sounds lovely! I know just browsing gives you lots of idea’s!
