Here’s a quick one that I’ve just started using and it comes in so handy!

When you have left over wine dregs instead of letting them go off or pouring them down the sink, pour them into an ice cube tray or bag and leave in the freezer.

They can be added too sauces at a later date for a really nice rich flavour, without having to open a whole bottle!

    Very interesting! They really freeze? I suppose their alcohol content isn’t as high as say, vodka, which I know doesn’t freeze.

    They melt pretty quickly once you take them out so you gotta be quick!

    Leftover wine – HAH! Doesn’t happen in my house! 😉 Open a bottle for the pasta sauce have to finish it… that’s the rule!

    Like Deborah, I don’t often have wine left over! But on those rare occasions when it happens, I’ll keep this in mind. Great tip!
